Cyber Sports is a bimonthly magazine devoted entirely to coverage of sports video games. It's not the first sports-only magazine (The Sports Game Review came out in 1993), but it's arguably the most successful -- it lasted at least a full year of regular publishing, unlike any other similar magazine.
History
Cyber Sports was founded by Sendai in 1995 as part of their aggressive title-expansion program. It was edited by Todd Mowatt, who was also the editor-in-chief of PSX, Ziff Davis's PlayStation magazine, at the same time.
The magazine includes a mixture of previews, reviews, making-of features, and strategy guides, as you'd expect from any other magazine. In addition, the magazine frequently interviewed sports celebrities, including Dan Marino, Penny Hardaway, Jimmy Johnson, and John Madden.
There's very little information available on Cyber Sports, so I'm not exactly sure when it ended. The issue index below is a best guess at their publishing schedule (based on my collection and old newsgroup posts), but may be revised in the future.
