Quality Control ? Super Star Wars (SNES)

I’m sorry, but I have to admit that I wasn’t able to get past the first level of this one. The game sends a never-ending string of enemies at you in the first level, and I wasn’t particularly able to figure out a pattern for the first boss, so I wasn’t able to get past it – at least not within my self assigned deadline. This is not a game I would have been happy to spend money on. Pass on this game unless you don’t have any problems regularly running into a brick wall.

No, seriously – if you’re looking for a run-and-gun (as that’s all this game really is), hunt down a SNK or Metal Slug collection instead. If you want a Star Wars game, pick up one of the Jedi Knight games, or Republic Commando, or Knights of the Old Republic. There are much better Star Wars games out there.

That's a shame, because once you get into it, Super Star Wars is a lot of fun. I know the controls take some getting used to (double-jumping especially), and the enemies don't stop, but you can use the endless swarm of enemies to your advantage (powering up your blaster and life meter) and make the Sarlaac Pit boss of stage 1 into hamburger. :)

Also SSW is a terrible game, that is a terrible icon, and asterisk actions are for terrible people. Hope that helps.

Dial it down a notch there chief. She's a regular contributor to this site and one of the nicest people you'll ever meet online judging from the way she puts up with some of the characters who post here. So she made a minor grammar error on a blog comment and you feel compelled to call her out on it. What have YOU contributed to the site exactly? Right, jack and squat. I thought so.

I'm sorry you don't like the icon. I think she's rather fun, so I'm keeping her for the time being. As for being a terrible person, all I can ask is how I managed to offend you and what I could have done differently. Sorry this reply is so long in coming, but I haven't had a computer for six months. :)
