  3. Comptiq No.237 (February 2002) (supplement included)

The supplement is included at the end of the archive because listing it separately makes no sense.  It's part of the magazine, why pretend it isn't?
The CD-ROM has been uploaded separately because including a CD-ROM ISO in a CBR file makes no sense.  It's a completely incompatible file type, why pretend it isn't? 😋
You can download the CD-ROM HERE.

  5. Comptiq No.239 (April 2002)

For a novel change of pace, there is no manga section in this issue, and in its place is a "getting started with PC gaming" introductory guide.  For another novel change of pace, this issue didn't come with a CD-ROM like all the others, so I won't be directing you to download it from my Internet Archive account.  Was someone asleep at the wheel on the production side of things this issue?

  11. Comptiq No.248 (November 2002)

The manga section is read R-L.  If using two-page view mode, you will need to turn on Japanese/manga mode as well during the manga section.  If viewing pages one at a time, no adjustments are necessary.

  12. Comptiq No.249 (December 2002)

This issue came with 2 CD-ROMS, which I've uploaded to the Internet Archive:
    Disc1
    Disc2
I remember being excited to use the second disc when I was creating the Comptiq database, since it's got a history of the magazine with lots of covers.  But IIRC it ended up not being so useful...maybe they were too low-res to use?  I forget. 😅

  13. Comptiq No.252 (February 2003)

The CD-ROM included with this issue can be downloaded HERE.
The manga section at the back is read R-L, so your CBR reader must be set to Japanese/manga mode during that section in order for facing pages to be oriented correctly.
Included at the very end of the archive is a scan of this issue's supplement - a "shitajiki" (下敷き).  These are basically hard sheets of plastic that people put under paper when they're writing to prevent impressions from forming on the next page of paper underneath.  No Japanese schoolchild will be without one.

  17. Comptiq No.258 (June 2003)

While the majority of the magazine is read L-R, the manga section is read R-L, so your CBR reader must be set to Japanese/Manga mode while viewing this section if also viewing 2 pages at a time, in order for the facing pages to be oriented correctly.  If viewing in single-page mode, no adjustments are necessary.
The included demo disc can be downloaded HERE.
*This issue had 4 two-sided fold-out posters in a row with an image on one side and articles on the other. It was necessary to keep them in place within the archive rather than move them to the end, and some were horizontal while others were vertically oriented.  However, they have been edited in such a way that your viewing experience should not be hampered regardless of whether your CBR reader is in single or double-page viewing mode.
