"Special Collector's Top-Secret Babe Issue", you say? Why, don't mind if I do! :D

All joking aside, this is my absolute favorite era of gaming: the late 90s PSX-era E3 shows are absolutely insane, and I ate the coverage up every single year. :)

Late 90s is also my favorite. The PS1 and Saturn and N64 all releasing games was a great time. So much coverage and so many games a year. Early PS2, Xbox, Dreamcast and GameCube is a close Second. So many advances in PC gaming at these times as well.

The Super Nintendo is my favorite console ever, but there was a time from 1996 - 2001 where I was very much on board the hype train in the gaming world. :)

I'd have to say, 16-bit and 32-bit are certainly my favs as well.  🍻  Especially for magazines.   They were just off the wall crazy during this era, and it was awesome.  😆

Definitely concur.  The 32-bit era came in at a perfect time in my life, and the constant experimentation, innovation, and anticipation of new gaming experiences was off the charts.  While refinement and the occasional surprise still occur from time to time, they are nowhere near the frequency of that era - and I don't think we should expect that to change.

The dawn of the 3D era, while crude as heck, was exciting to be a part of.  Every new E3 show was like a holiday-wrapped box of surprises.
