About This File

Super PRO Super Mario World Mini Guide

Super Pro supplement

*This file has been updated with corrected page numbers so that they display in the correct order in all readers.

Also: An alternate edit of this file which leaves the maps intact as single images (as the scanner/editor originally intended) rather than split into two separate pages can be downloaded HERE.

Pages are numbered incorrectly.  Should be 01, 02, 03... NOT 1, 2, 3...

This file displays pages as 1, 10, 11, 12... in many readers.

I'm sure it is.  But they're still numbered incorrectly and display incorrectly in some readers.  Including CDisplay (not CDisplayEX).

I'm sure it's mentioned elsewhere in the scanning guides, but you can specifically find reference to it when it discusses inserting missing pages in a scan, where it says:

"If the page is in the single or double digits, you'll have to give the Padding box a value until the number is three digits, with one or two zeros before the number. "

Page numbers should always be padded with zeroes so they all have the same number of digits.  This ensures 100% compatibility with ALL readers.

Well this is the fault of the scanner that's how he numbered them. Also no one should be using CDisplay that junk is old.

He's new he needs to learn this stuff.

I realize that was his fault because he is new.  But no one corrected him before approving and uploading the file.  That's why I said it needs to be fixed, and explained how to do it.  He can fix the filenames himself, but I'm not sure he has the ability to reupload it yet, so someone else will have to do it for him.

No need to be elitist about whatever readers people are using.  Numbering files with padded zeroes is a very standard practice outside of the world of magazine scans as well.  It's what is suggested in our scanning guides and is a very small thing that will ensure 100% compatibility in ALL readers, not just most readers, or just the good readers, but ALL readers.  That's why we do it that way.

@Adrian77 download the Bulk Rename Utility program and adding those zeroes is a snap.

Page numbers are messed up in PDFlite 2.0. Is the Sumatra or YAC reader way better? I was looking for readers that recognized the comic book formats a long time back and PDFlite was one I found. It worked and was free, but so are these others you guys mentioned. I just like scrolling through pages with the mouse wheel.

No need to switch to a different reader than what you're comfortable with (unless you want to).  Expect a corrected version of these files soon which will work with all readers.

EDIT: The download has been updated with the corrected file.  An alternate edit of the download has also been added in the description for anyone wanting to view the maps as single images as @Adrian77 originally intended.
