Updated 3rd Dec 2017

I am looking for RAW Scans for the following N64 game boxes and I am happy to Donate Money to help get this finished.

The scans I need don't exist on the the Internet unfortunately. This is 100% not for Profit. Anyone Selling Reproduction boxes should be reported.

Scans must be 600dpi or Higher and of good quality please. Here is a link to an excellent scanning guide:

http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=1305.0

  • Scans must be of all parts of the box please.
  • The Scan must be of the game pictured and the same region please.
  • You must be happy for the scan to be shared freely online. For example for use on Thecoverproject.net, gamefaqs, nintandbox, nesworld, retrocollect, emuparadise etc etc.
  • Payment will be by Paypal after everything is ok.

When my paypal balance is empty I will kindly ask for this post to be deleted.
Let me know what you can supply and how much for your time and hopefully we can sort a deal. Or if you are OK for money and just happy to donate for free for the community that's excellent.

Any questions just ask.

Have a nice day.

Good luck to you.  I don't own any of those games, unfortunately (well, unfortunate for you, anyway.  Looking at the titles, I'm pretty content with not owning any of them.:))

On a related note...Man...I wonder if we offered $5 per mag if we'd get more people scanning stuff around here.  Just think - $5 per debound/scanned/edited mag...depending on the number of pages, that's like making nearly $1 per hour!  Cha-ching!  So if anyone wants to pay me $5 per mag...er, nope...I'm still not gonna want to do it very often.:)

Thanks. Yep some of those are not anything to shout about. Luckily the previous 300 odd n64 titles were obtained without any cash needed. Its been about 4 years getting to this stage I just want it finished.  As for Mags with these new fan-dangled copier machines having a wanted list pinned to the front page and have people offer donations may be an option. Or maybe make the scans available for someone else to clean up and submit? I guess all this would have been thought or or suggested before.

Well, first of all, we do this non-profit, so donations are out, regardless.

As for scanning and leaving the raws for someone else to edit...it doesn't really work.  We had a member who went that route for a while and scanned a bunch of mags, uploading them to archive.org for others to edit.  Two years later, most of them are still there, untouched.  The sad truth is that scanning (but especially editing) mags is a dull and time-consuming process that almost no one is willing to commit to.

Lucky for you, scanning a box is a much speedier process, and as a bonus, can be done without destroying the thing being scanned.  Your only setback is having to find someone who kept the boxes to lackluster obscure games.

sorry, i've only got about a dozen n64 boxes, and none of them are ones you're looking for.

That's ok no need to apologise. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

Usually I get replies accusing me of trying to make money out of this but it's far from the truth.

It's just the nature of the internet as soon as you upload something seconds later there will be someone trying to make money off your efforts.

Luckily I've never seen anyone trying to make money off of my scans.  The only problem I've run across is having someone bastardize my work.  I had to stop scanning issues of Famitsu entirely because one of our members would immediately reupload them to a different site after severely reducing the image size and compression quality in order to make the filesize tiny.  I don't care if someone wants to make a low-quality version of our files for their own personal use (although really, hard drive space is pretty cheap these days) - I'd just rather they don't turn around and redistribute those low-quality versions to the Internet at large.:)
