Nintendo Ds To Watch Tv & Surf Internet

I do appreciate the backwards compatibility of the Gameboy/DS line but I wonder how much harder it would have been to implement full backwards compatibility into the GB Micro and the DS as they did with the GBA line up through the GBA SP. I just thought that it was cool to be able to play a game that was released almost 2 decades ago on a modern piece of hardware. :)

I guess that if I were an exec at Nintendo I probably would have made the same decision seeing as removing hardware support of pre GBA generation games probably allows them to make the new hardware smaller and lighter. Also, it's getting pretty hard to find pre GBA generation cartridges at the used game stores, unless you are willing to get your games via eBay. Even then the selection can be sparse and overpriced.
