Oh wow! One of the most infamous strategy guides out there. I remember getting this for my birthday many years ago and feeling like my poor Mother was ripped off buying the darn thing.

A book that's half a game guide and half web addresses for a website for the rest of the guide. Actually much less convenient than just having a printed guide or just using an online guide. And, of course, those web pages stayed up for about five minutes, so it wasn't long before this guide was basically useless. This is a relic from an age where everyone knew the internet was the exciting new future but a lot of people apparently didn't understand why.

Exactly why I wanted to put it up, such a weird thing.  And of course the Wayback Machine didn't start getting snapshots of the site until after it was gone.

This and the Dragon Quest VIII guide from Brady for the PS2 are probably the most infamous of the RPG guides. Mostly expanded instruction booklets.

The Piggyback version of the guide is only slightly better, but I am hoping to see the Prima version of the guide scanned, someday, the one from the hardcover trilogy pack.
