Author/Editor Database?

Is there any database or spreadsheet out there that chronicles everyone who has written for gaming magazines through the 1990s-early 2000s? Has anyone encountered anyone doing the work on chronicling the journalists at this time?

If this doesn't exist, it should.  But I'd like to see something all inclusive, covering the 70s/80s 'till now.

Yes, for sure (my interest area is 90s 2000s, so that's what I asked about but yes, the full spectrum of game coverage is great!)

 

Is there a way to build a shared spreadsheet for community input on this somewhere here? (I could always do it the old fashioned way and share a GoogleSheet....

With as much as we're working to preserve, catalog, and index, it seems like we could open an avenue like this on the site at some point. It would certainly fit in with Phillyman's goals of cross-referencing everything within the site (find a game in the game database, and it'll point to all the places where it was reviewed, previewed, advertised, or otherwise mentioned in print).
