Bluray And Hd-dvd

I think blu-ray has a good chance just because its built into the PS3, HD-DVD has a better looking name though

LG is trying to make a compatible system for both bluray and hd.

and there are discs that have both bluray and hd on both sides of the disc.

i've forgotten what companies make them, but they excist (or should be released in a little while)

Personnaly I really don't care about this war. I certainly will not re-buy my DVDs and I think I will keep buying DVD as long as DVDs will "stay"...

I agree... the only movies I will buy on HD are movies that I really care about like 300. Other than that I'm not going to rebuy any of my DVDs just to have them on HD>

Watched my first Blu Ray movie on my 42 inch HDTV yesterday and it BLEW me away, and it's only 1080i.

I wouldn't say only 1080i if it were only 720P they yeah you can add the only. I really don't see a big difference between 1080i and 1080p
