Multi File Rapidshare Downloads

As some of you might have noticed, when uploading a file to rapidshare you are limited to 100MB.

So when you have a magazine thats say 120MB, you'll have to split the file up into 2 parts.

Now the problem with rapidshare lies with the fact that there's a timed download limit between every file, depending on it's size. At least if you don't have a rapidhare premium membership.

So up until now, when you wanted to download a magazine that had 2 parts you would have to wait up till 3 hours to download the second part so that you could unpack the CBR.

Well, I've just noticed that I seem to have a limited amount of free upload space on my account, so from this point one, whenever I'll have to upload a magazine in 2 parts, I'll make the smallest part a "direct download", which should make it downloadable even if you are already at your hourly limit.

I'm sure this will make downloading these releases much more convenient. :happy:

I can't say how long it will take to reach the limit, at which point the files will automatically return to being regular rapidshare files, but it's a good solution as long as it lasts.

Why not just use Mega Upload instead of RapidShare? There isn't the 100meg limit at MegaUpload.

To be honest, it wasn't a very deliberate decision.

I had the rapidshare account since there are loads of other sites that use the service as a main file sharing tool over megaupload or similar sites.

So I simply started using it to upload magazines as well, besides just downloading other stuff.

I could have gotten a megaupload account as well, but that would only cost me more money and since I would barely use it to download anything, it would be a bit of a waste for me personally.

Besides the few inconveniences I'm quite pleased with rapidshare myself.

Oh, and when using a free account the files will get deleted in time, so that's also a big plus as my bandwidth is pretty limited, thus I can't keep re-uploading magazines.

Thanks for the Official Sega Saturn Magazine scans meppi, personally l do not mind waiting in order to get the next part, good things are always worth waiting for.
