Anyone Else Using Omnipage?

I have been using Omnipage with my Canon scanner, well a few nights ago I was messing around and I noticed an "Enhance" button. So I clicked on it and up popped the first page I scanned. At the top was a nice set of icons....So I start playing around....The first thing I notice is a skew icon.....So I click it and a grid is placed over my scan and I can grab onto this grid and straighten out my scan

OMG!

So then I notice a Crop icon......and I click on it......I drag a box around my scanned image and as I let go of the mouse button ....the white space disappears!!!!

So if anyone is looking for a very easy way to clean up scans.....Go and get yourself a copy of Omnipage 16 Professional Edition. If you look at the first page of my last few releases, I have been cleaning up the cover as a test run. Even if you dont own a scanner, this program can bulk import images for cleaning up.

I would say that it would take 10 seconds to edit each page....maybe less as you get the hang of it. So a 120 page magazine is going to take roughly 20 minutes to edit

I am saving all the untouched scans so that after I hit my 150th scan.....I can go back and clean them all up :)
