Wow, Blast Corps is one of my favourite games ever, nice find.

Yeah, it's incredible. Till this very day nothing quite like it has come out, which is a shame really.

A couple of new old things that arrived today.

I figured to start the summer with a bang, although it might end up being an extremely short one. :D

the NiGHTopia Dream Pack including:

GameCenter CX

Named like the original Japanese TV show where the host plays through classic Famicom games trying to pull off some of the hardest feats and regularly being helped by the original designers of the games or people who specialize in doing superplays of these games.

The game is a collection of retro games that aren't really retro games as they were specially developed for this cart.

Dragon Quest 2 on Famicom

Getting ready for Dragon Quest 4 remake on DS which should be released soon. :)

Space Fantasy Zone on PC-Engine CD2

A game that was completed but never released due to licensing issues.

I believe the developer lost the rights to the game once it was finished and thus it never saw an official release.

So this is clearly a bootleg, but instead of having to go the "burn your own CD" route like Propellor Arena on Dreamcast, this game has just been released in a way where it would be hard to differentiate it from an official release, spine card and all.

Bit of a collectors item.

Wow I have never heard about that one and I'm pretty knowledgeable about obscure console games.

Could it be an old bootleg game of some sort like the Mario games with Sonic in the etc.?

i'm also knowledgeable about about NES/Famicom

its going to need a good cleaning before it will work

i found a post HERE they don't know much tho :)

on the back...

1. PUSH RIGHT-UP SIDE OF THE + BUTTON AND "START BUTTON" TOGETHER, IT CAN TURN TO 1-2.

2. PUSH LIKE THIS WAY, USE THE " + BUTTON" AND "A BUTTON" TOGETHER THEN PUSH "START" IT ANT TURN TO A-1. OERA LIKE THIS WAY TO CHOOSE A. B. C. D.

so my guess...... multi cart! but maybe not tho :)

Very interesting. :)

Too bad the links to the pics don't work anymore.

Can you take a picture of the cart, or even a scan perhaps?

If that's not possible, could you let me know if there is any Japanese text on the label?

Japanese title or subtitle?

If I could have an image of something like that it might be easier to find some more details about the game.

Now that's retro! :D

Too bad I don't see Amidar in there, I used to love it back in the day on the arcade cabinet.

The only home version I remember is on the 2600.

I was browsing through Atari 2600 games on the internet the other day and I can remember being like 6 years old and playing some of these games. Its like every day I see a screen capture of a old 2600 game and go "I remember playing that 20+ years ago!"

I feel bad that I sold off my Atari 2600 and 7800 as a kid, I believe I traded them into EB Games and got Streetfighter 2, Starfox and another SNES game for my collection of 2 systems and 50+ games

Sweet. I need to get Samurai Spirits 3 myself one day.

I have 3 Count Bout, but I'm embarrassed to say that I have barely played it so far.

But got myself a second stick a couple of months back so that should change soon. ;)

I was actually browsing the Neo-Geo forum yesterday and noticed that you post there quite frequently as well.

Came across a thread about NeoGeo magazines where someone mentioned Neo-Geo Freak and thought about posting a link to the cbz files, but I was to lazy to sign up.

Yeah I've been a member of Neo-Geo.com for quite some time it's a really good place to find cheap and non cheap rare Neo titles. That is where I picked up 3 Count bout for only $18+shipping. Samurai Showdown 3 for $55+shipping.

It seems I keep missing new posts on topics I'm actually interested in, instead of the "do you clean your keyboard" updates.

That's a great price for those games.

I only collect Japanese NeoGeo games though.

Let me jump on the Neo Geo love bandwagon with my latest games. ;)

ASO II

Both boxes are in not so great condition due to being of the cardboard variety, but the carts themselves look mint, which I why I bought them.

I'll get a clamshell version of both in the future, but for the price I just couldn't resist. ASO II only cost me $10! :o

Oh and I have 2 more Neo Geo 2 Wii sticks on the way as well. One for a friend and a second one for myself. :D

These new sticks aren't quite as perfect as the original ones, but they come very close.

And perhaps once the sticks are played in for several months, they will be as loose as the wonderful originals.

They certainly beat out the Hori sticks I've tried on various systems, which needed to be modded with a Sanwa stick and buttons to make them as responsive as they should be.
