Sonic Times April/ May 1995 (A small publication apparently given to retailers to promote their purchasing of sega products for resale; not a usual video game magazine but interesting nonetheless)

Are you interested in CVG? I ask because they are pretty easily available on the net already but I have hoards of them on my hardrive and wondered if you wanted them on the site for completists sake

We are certainly interested in CVG, but the thing is, we don't take magazine scans from other sources and distribute them.

I'm pretty sure if Philly reads this he would say the same thing.

We proud ourselves of doing all the work we put up.

If Mort, who originally scanned all the issues would be willing to donate the scans to retromags that would be a completely different story though.

That's actually why I've started scanning the Mean Machines issues myself.

Mort has also scanned the whole set and sells them on DVD, but we put up our own versions, which are free btw. ;)

You are right Meppi!

But Mort technically already vouched his scans to Retromags about 2 years ago. He sent me all his material on DVD's. I have just been hesitant to import it into the new system But I will double check with him again about us using his material.

I haven´t read all your posts yet but I want to let you know guys that I have COMPLETE collections of Club Nintendo, Atomix and EGM magazines but all of them are in spanish (From mexico NOT from Spain). I was going to scan them for myself only at the begining (because now I have about 300 issues total, not all of them meet the 5 years old requirement) but now that I know about this proyect I would like to know if you are just interested in English magazines only? Because anyway I have a bunch of different issues from GamePro, GameFan, Electronic games, EGM and EGM2 in english, maybe with that I can help you to fill in on some gaps you might have.

It would be great if you scan the Atomix/Club Nintendo, I speak Spanish too (I'm from Peru).

Jesus, man. You're killing me here! Phillyman really needs to let you get access to the upload FTP so you can add them yourself. It's much faster than me trying to grab everything from Crapidshare - slowly, I might add - and then uploading it all.

I'll do the three regular issues of Game Players since it's a one-part download, but the others will need to be done by someone else.

  • 1 month later...

I notice that my scans of Game Players Encyclopedia 3 and 4 are not yet posted in the downloads section of this website. Why is this? Can I upload them myself directly to the downloading section?

My scan of Game Player's Sega Genesis Strategy Guide Vol 2 No 5 is also not available to the downloads section.

Also, I will be posting more scans soon.
