Ftp-server

I'm thinking on open up a ftp-server for many of the mags i have downloaded from here (18 gig)

so people can get them without the download limit and spare the retromag server.

what do you think? if i do this, it may not be up 24/7 but i will have it up then i'm online.

So if you are interested give me a pm with your username

and i hook you up. and it would be great if any of you have some mags to upload as well.

I didn't get it to work with a ftp program, (have a Router) so use

Firefox, Explorer or flashget then downloading the files.

ps: if this is not ok by any of the uploaders, then i will take it down.

Its fine with me, But why choose a FTP? I keep wishing someone would flood the retromags releases on Mininova or The Piratebay. This way we could get more exposure for the project and possible bring aboard more scannings. But a Private FTP server would be nice also , I just found it to be a pain to run because every time I wanted to play my Xbox or Wii, I would have to cut it off, which would lead to many people wondering what happened, at least turning off torrents, some people will still be able to download

The thing is that most torrent sites are like this (why are you not seeding you fu¤¤%#¤) and so on.

So it's not fun to seed for hateful people. And undergound-gamer have many of the mags.

Maybe i upload it as a big torrent on Demonoid...

I'm all for it.

A bit torrent that anyone could find on something like Mininova would be ideal if it could be kept seeded, but an FTP would be great as well.

I honestly don't know which uploader would have any problems with you putting the releases on your FTP.

The more people can grab them the better I say.
