This is the main reason I try to stay clear of his auctions, He tends to buy magazines in bulk and then sell them individually for insane prices

What I should have known already for a long time: the internet is full of morons and assholes. From games, to forums to ebay..... :(

I've recently started using an import forum where members can sell and buy stuff between each other and give feedback and just use the couple of ebay stores I know and love and the experience has been so much better.

Well he is doing it to make a buck, which I cant find fault with. But just throwing it out to our members that BillMarioMan bids on auctions for 10-100 magazines and then after he gets them he sells them individually within his store (which I believe are insanely high). A few people have contacted me about his auctions and thats what lead to me posting this. But as much as I hate to buy from him, those Team Sega Newsletters he has for sale are soooo fucking tempting, I just dont have the funds at this point for them.

Yeah I know.

It's just that those are some underhanded tactics if I ever saw them.

I've seen these things done to certain classic games as well. Buy as many copies as possible up from someone for cheap and artificially inflate the price even more than they normally are with webshops and collectors/resellers asking too much.

Blatant greed like this just rubs me the wrong way.

I wouldn't call it blatant greed but smart capitalism. Yeh it really sucks and I've been on the wrong side of this tactic plenty but there isn't anything stopping anyone from doing the same. You always try to catch a fad before it becomes one and buy as much as you can.
