Castlevania Dracula X (psp)

I love the graphics of this game, but this game is kicking my ass! I feel as though the jumping and moving is a bit stiff in this game. I do so much better in the Castlevania games like Aria of Sorrow and Portrait of Ruin.

Anyone else have this game?

Well I have the original on PC-Engine if that counts.

Absolutely love the game.

Castlevania 4 on Snes is still my favourite though, but Dracula X plays more like the original NES games. So in that light it's simply incredible.

Not sure if the control problems are due to the port/remake nature as the original one controls perfectly, again, just like the NES games.

I have it, and yes, it is an incredible game. Everyone who owns a PSP owes it to themselves to buy this game. The original can be quite difficult due to the hyper-aggressive enemies and the short 'invincible' time you receive after being hit. The remake balances this out a little better, but is still pretty challenging. As for the controls being a bit stiff, well, this is an old-school Castlevania!

Phillyman-- are you playing the remake or did you unlock the original game?

I've got the PSP version and yes I think it's better than the TurboCD version. It takes a bit of getting used to but when you do you can just fly through the game. One of the best things on this game is the unlockable SOTN.

I don't have the game, but I know well about it. I'm mostly interested as the inclusion of SOTN. To me ROB is the bonus.

I bought this game for Symphony of the Night. It is simply one of the best games ever made and a solid top 5 on the PS1. Control is better on the PS1. Dont bother with the XBOX live Arcade version. Rondo of Blood is good as well.
