When Was The Last Time The Retromags Wiki Was Updated?

Hi all :D

I just discovered the Retromags Wiki. It would be very useful to see which issues of a magazine from which month and years are scanned and which are not.

BUT I have 2 questions about it.

1. How often is it updated? (newly scanned mags added to each magazine's section)

2. Kind of goes with #1 but WHY is GameFan not even ON the main magazine list?

(the list on the wiki's front page)

Well its updated as we have time, but with all the other things going on......sometimes its neglected. Everybody is welcome to add to the Wiki.....whether you upload some cover shots of magazines or list out what a certain issue covers inside. Gamefan is a magazine that I dont own too many issues of......so that may be why its not on there

Ah thank you. Can't not have my favorite mag on the list ;)

BTW, Phillyman, maybe you haven't seen it yet but could you please reply in my other thread

"How Many Magazines Can I Download? (faq Vs Post!)"

I'm new here and I ask some questions there about the downloads (the FAQ has one set of numbers, one of your most RECENT posts has another set of numbers - I explain more in that post ;) and also I ask some questions about donating :):help:

I have tried to assist with the wiki and for some reason I get lost trying to do much on it, I couldn't make those double columns or anything. Is there a FAQ on how to edit on it? I mean, I can get one column going and that is it. If I knew how I would fill in the Gamefans that I have on there.

Thanks

The best you can do to get a new page looking uniform with the other ones is go to one of my pages (Club Nintendo/Maximum/Sega Saturn Magazine) click the edit button and copy everything.

The just paste all the data into your new page and edit the content where necessary. That's how I do it.

I started out to get the EGM pages all up to date as well, but as it's such a huge undertaking and my time is limited I just gave up for now.

It's either do the wiki or spend time scanning and editing pages, so I chose the latter.

I wonder if there are any members willing to help with this situation, maybe some that don't have the ability to scan or something. I mean, you could do it from the release (all the needed information would be there).

Meppi, thanks, I didn't think about doing that. I was racking my brain trying to figure it out when a simple solution was looking me in the face. lol
