Thanks for posting the fact that there was a duplicate page...That sort of input is always appreciated...As for the "most images are different sizes" thing...that, in this particular case...was due to me taking shortcuts (ie-the Zelda and.Mario comics were already scanned previously, and I found them via simple internet searches). Considering that both of these comics together spanning the several issues that they do...sum total over 200 pages worth of scanning, the shortcuts seemed the way to go to save some precious time...Not like anyone reads Nintendo Power for the comics anyways:) They just like the centerfolds!

i like the comics. they were good. but i suppose it's all in the fact that we can always go back and update them with higher res scans later on.

Noseface-

First, I'll assume you meant to start your post with "Thank you for scanning and posting this magazine." After all, you did get this for free, from someone who put time and effort into it.

Secondly, try scanning an issue or two for us, and see how hard it is to make it 110% perfect and then some. A few pixels off here and there isn't that huge an issue to complain about. The different sized pages (meaning the comics, which ARE different sized) its understandable, but you got your answer- but don't start complaining about 20-30 pixels here and there.

third, if its that big a problem for you, dig out your magazines, or buy a copy on ebay, fix up the things you dont like, and send it out to all of us like we send out our scans. This is an open project, and its a work in progress. Anyone can help, and if you're downloading them, its probably only fair for you to try and help, and if you see something that needs work in your opinion, no better time and place to start then there.

One last thing to think about: If a few more people each jumped in doing one or two books here and there, the rest of us would have less to do each, and could focus more time on scanning and making perfect the rest of the pages.

Money's nice to help run a website... and if you donated at least $10, you would be a 'premium member' and have access to more downloads... but money's not helping the scanning any. We're looking for people to SCAN... put a little time into things, and take the load of us...

don't even try talking about 'internet respect'. There are plenty of people that show respect, then there are little pissants like yourself crying about a few pages being sized differently, without even thanking anyone for scanning it. I'm not scanning stuff for people like you, im scanning it for the people who can at least say thank you, or that they appreciate the scanning/editing time. Noone has to send what they do to anyone. They do so to be nice, and if they arent at least treated a little more graciously, will end up walking away and keeping what they do to themselves...

I believe the money you donated Noseface went to the purchase of 60+ PSM magazines .....which are currently being scanned right now ......As soon as they are edited they will be released .....So The money you donated did get put to use .....would you rather i just release the magazines out at 200mb in size and not cropped or straightened ?

If i released them in there current state .....you would just be downloading twice .......once for the unedited version ......and again for the edited version .......all this work takes time ......I scan about 2 magazines per day .....quite more then anyone else puts forward in a month :(
