Cbr To Pdf?

I am a huge fan of PDFs and would be willing to start converting the CBR files! I have an upgraded version of Adobe that allows me to do quite a few things that the "free" version does not allow. Does anyone know how begin converting the CBRs? I did not see any place that I could print the file (which would be the only way I could think of converting them).

I'm not really a fan of PDFs myself, especially since it's very tempting for people to compress the image files when packing them into PDFs.

Also I like the freedom the CBZ format brings with it, not only due to the available programs that read them, but also since it keeps the JPG files nice and pure.

That being said, a CBZ file is nothing but a renamed ZIP, and a CBR a renamed RAR, so by opening one of these with an archiving program you will get to the folder with the original JPG files inside.

All those 3 letter abbreviations are greek to me! Sorry! :( Do you know an easier way to save the file so that I can view it in a program that I might know a litter better? I guess if you say you can view the original JPG file maybe to view in a picture viewer or something?

As meppi said there, just open the cbr or cbz with an archive program and you can unzip the images right there.

Is there a good archive program that you reccomend? Is it something that I will need to download or is it something that should already be on my computer?

For Windows that would be winrar, and for OS X I'd say Unarchiver.
