Capcom Showing Psn Some Love

What it amounts to is Capcom has sent a batch of PSOne titles they released to Sony for approval for the PSN Store.

Quotes from Siliconera:

Specific games and a timeline were not mentioned, but a few months ago the ESRB rated Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3 as PS3/PSP games. Those could be some of the games. Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo is also rated as PSP title by the ESRB so this is another possibility. I’m hoping for both of the Mega Man Legends games. After all, these were released in Japan on UMD along with Breath of Fire III.

Other titles they put out and are possibly on the table for re-release are listed below, just remember, if it has X-Men, Marvel or Mickey in the game/title, then it will probably not get re-released due to licensing reasons.

Well since I got rid of my PSX a while back and I see several games there that I would like to play again... I may be spending some cash.

Minus the licensed stuff, it would simply be awesome if Capcom were able to get the majority of their stuff cleared for the PSP/PS3.

They are really going all out. I wish Nintendo would do something similar. At least release Majora's Mask, Mario Kart SNES, Smash Brothers, Donkey Kong 64, Star Fox, Yoshi's Island and many more of course.

Can't you buy it via Virtual console or w/e it is called on Wii? Even though I have Wii, I never connected it to the internet so I actually never seen what you can buy :).
