Pink Gamefan

does anyone remember a gamefan issue with sonic on it i think. it was like pink and had a bunch of sonic cd stuff in it. it might be from some time in 1993. it had a small snippet of mk2 in it. anybody?

Don't know of any 'pink' colored issues from back then (there were a couple that had red as a primary color). I have a couple that meet your criteria for content though, I posted pics of the covers below maybe you are thinking of one of them?

i know. i bought it in 6th grade. it has an entire sonic cd walkthrough and like the first mortal kombat 2 stuff.

i would still have it today but i wore it out with reading. that was a great issue. i think it was gamefan but it could've been

something else.

the super punchout one might be it but it could be sept. 1994 issue. the superpunchout is oct 1994. ive looked through every issue and now i'm positive that it's most likely the september 1993 issue or the superpunchout issue you have. thanks for the help. now i need to find gamefan september 1993 issue volume 1. issue 10.

Volume 1 issue 10 is the one up there that has Aero the Acrobat on it. Second up from the bottom. Are you thinking of another issue?

you're right. i'm totally confused now. the gamefan i'm thinking of has those mk2 logos on the front but i remember it having sonic on the cover and an entire sonic cd section inside. i'm almost positive that it's gamefan but i could be wrong. i don't want you to waste your time scanning the aero acrobat issue because that isn't it. thank you a lot for your help though. if you ever come across a pink/neon orange gaming magazine with sonic on it let me know.

Scan away. I am sure we can get your releases up with no problem. Just make sure they are issues you scanned, that is all we really ask, other than the age thing.

Do you have any idea what Atarian issues you have? Any more blip issues? I am interested in this, as I am sure others are too, since those are costly endeavors on ebay right now.

Volume 2 Issue 10 has a 2 page spread, hardly a walkthrough for Sonic and Knuckles. Nothing on Sonic CD though. Volume 2 Issue 09 doesn't have anything on Sonic CD, or Sonic anything as far as I could tell scanning through it.

but i think i remember that "video games" magazine had sonic on the cover. it was an orange one probably from the winter of 1993/ jan, feb, mar of 1994.

yea. i only have gamepro and egm mostly. i don't have any of the other mags you referred to. i was going to scan some egm^2 issues that i didn't see on here and some egm's that i have that aren't on here. i have a gamefan from 95 that's not on here. i got a lame killer instinct comic. and some gamepro's that i didn't see on here. i was going to scan egm^2 number: vol. 2 issue 1, vol 2. issue 3, oct 1995, may 1996, aug 1996,sept. 1996, vol. 1 issue 6(but this issue is huge).

Anything not up already is surely a welcome addition to the site. I have a bunch of VG&CE issues from early in their life, only 3 or so after the name change. I recently sold off a bunch (about 100+ issues) from my collection, still have to ship another 30+ of them when I can get them all together and packed. A bunch of them were the 'phone book' issues, like Volume 1 issue 6 of EGM2 (250+ pagers).

I am focusing on Gamefan and VG&CE at the moment as far as my personal scanning, leaning into getting Game Player's again when I can too.
