King Of Fighters 12 Artwork Is All Redone

Kotaku recently put up a comparison of the artwork for King of Fighters 12, old and newly redone by hand work from the game.

There are more pics on the Kotaku site but they zoomed up really close on them and they don't look as good as they should.

It being rated T and not having the "sexual content" type lable kind of knocks Mai out at the moment. It would be cool if they put her in later (I mean, surely they can, just put a disclaimer with her character download that it will change the rating ofthe game or something).

I was talking to 2 of my friends today who say they will not buy the game now. Mai is a big part of the Fatal Fury legacy. It's just dumb for them to leave her out.

Well I've actually finished my custom stick that I was building but I'm actually sad to say that I've gotten so used to my fight pad that I don't know if I will use my joystick much. Then again KOF is a different game so maybe I had better just play that with the joystick right from the start.

Apparently depending on the system you are gaming on, you will have different choices with your online capabilities:

Also interesting is King of Fighters XII has a different set of options in the online menu depending on the console. On the PlayStation 3 players can pick “Clan” which is not found in the Xbox 360 menu. Instead the menu has an option for a “ranked match.” Clan mode is a bulletin board (BBS) like system where players can post messages and issue challenges.
