My fiancee wants this game pretty badly but I will have to buy/build another computer with better specs (that comes well after I get some prior agreements taken care of).

Since The Sims 2 had an Ikea expansion, I wonder if this version will have similar expansions. Sears appliances, JC Penny clothes. They could milk this even more than they did with Sims 2.

I so want to like the new Sims game but I don't know. Sims 2 really killed it for me. I don't even know how many hours I put into the first Sims game but the 2nd one just ... I don't know. Maybe I should give Sims 2 a try again now that I have a better computer. But that trailer looked really funny.

I am thinking it is that the tools are that good. I don't have the game yet so I am not sure and haven't found much information on this subject.
