California Extreme!

I know that this information may not be relevant to everyone here, but hopefully some folks on this board can actually make it there:

California Extreme!

I make it a point to go every year because it is like stepping back in time to the 80's where one could immerse themselves in a thick, narcotic blanket of bleeps and bloops, bongs and booms, and the loud SNAP!'s when a pinball wizard got themselves a free play! There's 70's and 80's music playing on the jukebox, video from the laserdisc games projected on the wall for all to see, pinball machines from every era, but one of the coolest things is to see (and play!) the prototype machines that never made it to production. There's a lot of the old staples, like Donkey Kong and Asteroids, but there is always something new (or wasn't there the previous year) every year!

An emulator is one thing, but there's nothing like playing the real thing. It's an experience!
