Was this the one where him and the kids spent a lot of time in the Lab?  Or was that Beakman's World? 

This was on Nickelodeon back in the late 80's, he would do science experiments with kids......funny enough that WE didnt need disclaimers back then to prevent us from burning down our houses :lol:

I used to love watching him on TV (yeah, I am old).  I think the other one I mentioned was a poor knockoff done by NBC or something.

I remember a segment about lifting a car with one hand and he got out a jack or something and when they were done, the kid was all amazed that they did it.  It was funny.

Oh man. What a great show that was. It was Mr Wizard that taght me that a hollow plastic pole is stronger than a solid one because it has more surface area, and proceeded to prove it by showing how little it bent with dumbbell weights on it compared to the solid one.

Gnarly.
