Check out the interview that Publishing Executive did with Steve Harris about the relaunch of EGM and the methods Mr. Harris is going to use.  Interesting read (it really is about a page long but spread over 3 pages).

I can't wait to buy a new EGM issue!

I think he has a great vision and I hope it works out. He talks about gaming mags and their net counterparts needing to work in tandem, and I think that's definitely a good start. Just look at Nintendo Power and Club Nintendo, I think they're doing it well.

I also think it would be pretty cool if you could upload the current issue to some form of media to be able to put it on an iPhone or similar device, or make a digital copy. I think he mentions that, as well.

He pretty much answered the questions like a politician: he answered them without really answering them. Lots of generalized stuff, and nothing specific.

And I find his twitter page more useful than his Facebook page, which he doesn't really seem to post to.

I agree, E-Day, but he has broke the silence (publicly anyhow).  He is getting word out and things are starting, that is the main news.
