My First Contribution (awww)

I've been scanning Game Informer #45. Before I continue I'd like to get opinions on quality and such, as well as seek instructions on what to do from Phillyman.

As you can see from the image below, the cover is not in great condition, either is the inside or backside cover. However the rest of the mag is in great condition, and this issue is nice because the editor calls out Game Fan in the beginning of the mag.

As far as the image you posted, I'd crop out the edges, imho. Edges can be a distraction. Also, keep in mind that when they're in cbr format, any big differences in page height or cropping will be more obvious when viewed in double page. It's one thing I didn't think about when doing my Mario Paint guide but luckily it's not as big a deal unless the mag was made to have its two open pages coalesce.

First up, my apologies for having missed this post.  Thanks for the contribution, I don't see it in the downloads section or on the FTP.  Has Philly gotten back to you on this?

Second, take what Tony said, it is really great advice (the trimming may seem excessive but it really does make the final release look so much better to not have those edges there).

Can you post a set of 5 or so pages in a zip file (not necessarily a CBR file, just a zip) for others to check out and offer help with you with recommendations?
