Looking For A Windows Vista Cd Ripper

Does anyone know where I can find a free program that can rip dvds to wav or mp3. I am not really picky of the format as I know I have a wav to mp3 converter in my old winamp. For some reason the old winamp output writer is not working anymore so I need a new program. Any suggestion?

Are you just wanting the audio from a movie or something?

You need Free Rip. It's just that simple.

http://www.freerip.com

This thing is simple, fast, free, under 2mb in size, and will rip to WAV, MP3, OGG, WMA or FLAC format in any quality or bitrate you desire. In addition, it will convert any of those formats to another (WAV to FLAC for instance), offers you a choice of two different databases to query for track information, allows you to upload your own info to fix/correct database entries, and will let you edit MP3 track information with a couple of mouse clicks. About the only thing it won't do for you is burn the CDs. :)

Know it, use it, love it and never look back. :)

Freerip was my first idea. Sadly the regular version and even their new beta do not work on Windows Vista Dual Core machines. Apparently this is something they are working on.
