NBA Jam coming to Wii exclusively!

I don't have scans, but I did buy the mag. I'm excited as crap for this game and all I've seen are the stills. Definitely a must buy for me later this year :Wii:

I wonder what twists they added to the usual 2 on 2 slam dunk contest? I thought the original had good graphics and the idea of having big heads for the top NBA players with a few hidden was a good idea, but the gameplay got boring after about the 200th slam.

Like all remakes of the 1990's games, I'm curious as to how it will score. I always got beat bad at this one.

I'm sure the screenshots and whatnot will be up in a few days (if not sooner). But I'm psyched for this one. It could be one of the best "revamps" of an old arcade title in a while.

I think they had something a few years back on PS2, an NBA Jam game or maybe just NBA Street. Whatever it was, the game was fun and I hope it's like that game. It played like a modern NBA Jam.

I knew about this for a little while but I looked that that NP today and WOW!!!! That game looks great. I've been playing NBA Jam a lot lately and then when I heard about this I got excited but at the same time skeptical. I was worried it would be a 3D game like NBA Jam Xtreme for the Saturn. But no it's 2D with digitized sprites. Man it looks better than the old arcade games. I can't say how cool it looks.

I know I will have this reserved at Blockbuster (or somewhere else other than Gamestop, screw them) once they start taking reservations on it. This is at the top of my list this year!

Yeah that's been my view on Gamestop since I moved down to Texas. I loved them up north though. But yeah I'll pick it up at Hastings.
