One of my favorite sites...But !

Hey every one,

I really appreciate the hardworking from the great uploaders and Retromags team.This site is what i was looking for years.

To find classic issues of magazines in one site,and bring all those nostalgic moments from the golden age of gaming is

just amazing.....but i have a little annoying problem though,well i m from Syria and Megaupload and RapidShare for some reasons

are blocked.So i,m asking -if it possible-for uploading these files on sites like IFILE or Mediafire,and i well be thankful.

Well it takes a lot of time to upload to just those sites even. We used to have all the magazines right here on the website to download but were forced to take them down.

I don't see us uploading them to IFILE or Mediafire any time soon but anything is possible down the road I suppose.

I recommended Mediafire as an alternate site a couple weeks ago when we lost all our downloads. This is the reason why. Many Asian and European countries get blocked from Rapidshare and Megaupload because of territorial hackers. Alot of times these hackers log in to the servers using dynamic addresses and download more than any premium member could. They do it by stealing user's passwords or by directly using backdoor calls to the server. My point is your number may be blocked because of someone else in your zone.

I'm glad too because 90% of the problems we have come from places like China and other Asian territories.

But that doesn't mean I don't want to help you. If you could tell me the name of one particular magazine your interested in, I may be able to trickle some up to Mediafire for everyone and add it to the download section.

@(Mr. Know-It-All!)i really appreciate your concern,actually RS & MU and many torrents sites blocked in my country

for piracy and porn.Right now i,m trying a program called ultrasurf hopefully it well work.

Hopefully, you will also appreciate that people like myself have paid money for a persoanl hosting account so people can enjoy our magazines. Unfortunately we have to make a purchase decision based upon factors such as cost, ease of use, how many people are likely to have accounts with the same hoster & what sort of restrictions are likely for free users. After weighing these factors up a Megaupload account was the one that made the most sense for me.

There is nothing to prevent someone else grabbing a Mediafire account if it suits their needs and hosting our content there as well. That's why we have the ability to list multiple links. So if someone is up to the task by all means go for it. What we don't want to people placing content on free hosting accounts where the files are deleted after so many days of non-use etc as it pretty much means a full-time job cleaning our links out as they get deleted/replaced. This is a hobby after all .... no-one is getting paid to do this ....
