Recently I have been getting back into board games, It has probably been a good 20 years since I touched a board game....but a recent trip to Toys R Us has lit a fire in me. Most nights at my house are composed of Mario Kart Wii and Scrabble. So far I have the following board games.....

Scrabble

Monopoly

Life

Blockus

Connect 4x4

Bananagrams

Trinominoes

Scrabble Slam

UNO

Super Scrabble

Sorry

Operation

Now Scrabble is the favorite, we even bought the illustrated scrabble dictionary to settle word disputes. So anyone else out there into board games?

Great topic, I didn't see this when it was first posted! I still love board games and my family comes over sometimes to play.

The Goodwill has been an endless source of games for my family. Ever since I picked up my first game there, I've started collecting them. So far I have found:

Nightmare(a video boardgame from the 90s)

Simon (in great condition from 1978!)

Candyland

Chutes & Ladders

Trivial Pursuit(Master Edition from the 80s)

Scrabble(80s/90s)

Clue(80s/90s)

Pictionary(80s/90s)

Operation

Grape Escape(1992)

Monopoly(1978 or so edition)

Update: I just happened to find 3 from my wanted list at the Goodwill for $1 each!-

Battleship(1984 version MIB)

Rummikub

Parcheesi

I'm glad I'm able to find the versions I played when I was a kid. It brings it all back so much more. I'm currently looking for a 1991 Game of Life and a 1984 Candyland board. I'll probably try to find them for cheap on eBay. I'd also love to have Crossfire, Sorry, Connect 4, and Trouble- preferably 90s versions.
