Super Street Fighter IV to be the last Street Fighter IV

Not sure if I feel like shelling out another $40 for Super Street Fighter IV, as I barely played Street Fighter IV <_<

If your overactive imagination is already calling up fantasies of the next, next iteration of Street Fighter IV, you should reign that in right now. Producer Yoshinori Ono told Official Xbox Magazine (via CVG) he's "aware of the mistakes Capcom has made in the past" in relation to the numerous special editions past Street Fighter installments have received. He added, "Super Street Fighter IV should be the distinctive end" of the franchise's fourth chapter.

Capcom's not abandoning the title, though -- Ono said the company could ostensibly "upload a patch for Super Street Fighter IV 2011 edition that would have tuning and balancing." But as far as ever seeing Hyper Ultra Super Street Fighter 4: Turbo Tournament Edition EX: The New Challengers hit store shelves, Ono claims that "as a packaged product, I think this is the last."

Well here is my view... I already have it payed off. I have put in countless hours on SF4 but... now I don't know if I will have internet in a few weeks. I'm going to be moving and I don't know when I will be able to afford the net.

So yeah I guess this is also to let you guys know I may not be around for a little while. When I go on a hiatus don't worry.

I play a crapload of SFIV. Our friends have a tournament every weekend(usually) and we're thinking of heading to more actual tourneys to fight real players. My experience with SFIV has been so-so, I love it but hate it and I'm hoping this one will be what SFIV should have been from the start. I don't like that I'll essentially have to pay for it all over again, but maybe it will be worth it for someone who plays as much as I do.

I'm really looking forward to this game, can't wait to try out all the new character's and check out the new background stage's.

I definitely need to buy one of those Madcatz gamepad's though as the Xbox 360's D-pad just isn't good enough.

Of course then I won't be able to blame my controller anymore when I lose.

Yeah, I had a lot of issues with the controller until I bought my Hori. It's well worth it if you play a lot, Atik.

Some of those Hori and Madcatz arcade stick's look really great, maybe I'll get one eventually Mister Zero.

I think I'll get a Madcatz game pad first though. I've been using gamepad's to play Street Fighter game's since the Snes and Mega Drive day's and so I'm more used to them than arcade stick's.

The Madcatz gamepad that I saw recently kind of reminded me of the Sega Saturn gamepad and that was great for fighting games.

Yeah, my friend swears by his Madcatz. It is a lot like the Saturn controller, and that's what drew him in too. they prettymuch made it to be that way. I fully recommend buying one if you have the chance.

I tried it after getting my stick and I can't do it very well anymore with just my thumb. :rolleyes:
