This game has to be seen (and heard) to be believed. Keep in mind, this was a DOS-based title, so it's old school, but the sound you are hearing didn't come from any SoundBlaster or AdLib card. It came from the PC speaker. If you're too young to understand what this means or why it is so amazing, it's the aural equivalent of getting Xbox 360-quality graphics out of a PS2 without resorting to pre-rendered cutscenes. It's THAT damn cool. :)

I got that game for free from GoodOldGames, and wow, you miss 1 lead and you're stuck. Neat visuals tho for a game that's 20+ years old.

Cool, another RealSound game. I have an old DOS version of Links (golf game) that has the option of using RealSound on the PC speaker to output a few short clips of vocal commentary after you hit the ball "Looks like I hit the tree, Jim." [lol], along with random bird chirps at actual digital sound quality. Too bad the PC speaker has no volume control (unless you do what I did once and wire the motherboard to the internal sound card line-in instead of the case speaker). Also, using RealSound caused Links (DOS) to crash in Win98 as soon as a sound played. Looks like I've got to try it in DosBox some time.

No I was referring to the quote that I put on there. The game that Schloss Ritter was talking about. But I did read his post wrong. He said Links but I thought he was talking about this game.

Sorry, I got confused. There's a thread for World Class Leader Board over here, so I thought you'd clicked reply on the wrong link. :)

We can move the posts that talk about it over there, if you want. I'll leave it up to you. :)
