Will Harvey is a sadist. "The Immortal" is one of those games where you die so often that you'll either give up in frustration, or press onward through sheer bloody-mindedness just to show that you cannot be beaten. Good luck doing so without a VERY detailed guide, as every room in the game has multiple ways of slaughtering you and it only takes a single misstep for you to wind up burned to a crisp, crushed into jelly, poisoned, stabbed, sliced, decapitated, turned to stone, impaled, or buried at the bottom of a pit. :)

Dragon's Lair is at least funny and you just have to learn the pattern. This game is just crazy. It's the same for me with Magician for the NES.
