Just stumbled across this project.

I have quite a bit of Photoshop experience.

Is there any need for my talents / time in editing or cleaning up scans?

Absolutely ......Over the past few days i have dumped around 80 gigs worth of data off my computer ......and will be starting up the scanning full speed again ......we can always use editors

I have ~160 issues of NP and several (40-50) guides, I had started doing this myself (had already scanned the first 3 issues and several random ones, I had been creating them in PDF format and 1 issue is ~70 MB

I recently got a page feed scanner so I can cut them apart and scan in bulk.

My Super Mario RPG guide has some damage on the cover but most of the inside is not too bad. The rest are in good shape.

misfit, did you end up doing any clean-up work?

I'm curous as to your photoshopping process... if it's anything specific. Or are you just bluring out creases and such?
