Gamepro Missing Magazine Scans

Hey all, Happy New Year!

I am wondering if anyone is currently scanning any of the current missing Gamepro magazines?

I have 6 of the 7 missing mags at home that I was going to begin scanning to have uploaded to the site but didn't want to duplicate work.

2 of my magazines are missing the cover however (December 1989 and April 1990) so I am not sure what everyone's feeling is on getting these uploaded.

January 1990
April 1990 - No Cover

November 1990

Those are all needed! Scan them post haste, please! You don't even need to edit them; just scan them and dump a zip somewhere and I will download and edit them for you! If you need guidance as far as how to scan them for best quality, let me know and I will help you out.

If you can scan the covers for the missing ones, RedEye, that would be swell. I assume no cover means no from and back covers (inside and out).

Yep, no sweat. I'll want to verify we're not missing any of the first pages too before I start scanning, but I've got them right here ready to go.

Rychem: page one of December 1989 is a Shadowgate ad, page one of April 1990 is a Sky Shark ad. Let me know if yours are intact or if I need to scan the first and last pages of mine with the covers.

Hey All,

The 7th missing scan is November 1989 which I do not have. I will begin scanning the magazines this weekend, may take me awhile but I will let you guys know when I have some stuff complete.

@TheRedEye - I am pretty sure that is only the covers that are missing from the 2 issues. And yes this means the back cover as well, but based off your description and the page numbering I will check again.

@E-Day - thanks for the help editing. I was a bit worried about how to get this done as I do not have an editing program other than paint. I suppose I could have used GIMP. I have gone over some of the guidelines on the forum about scanning. What I plan to do is scan one issue to start (I will update this forum when it is complete) and see what you think of the scan job first before proceeding to the next ones.

Okeydoke, ready to scan what's needed of those two as soon as you confirm. I have the missing issue too but mine is actually in this gorgeous brand new condition, so I'm not willing to de-bind or squash it in the scanner. I'm like 90% sure I have a double of it somewhere, I'll check the next time I go to my storage unit.

Hey all,

Got some bad news on the above available magazines. My scanner was sort of dropped this weekend and I am unable to get started on the scanning of these magazines.

However, I do have some good news. If anyone is interested in taking over the scanning process of these magazines. I would be happy to send them their way to have this work completed.

@E-Day - not sure if you are interested in partaking in this activity. Posting the magazines to you would probably be the cheapest option for me as it would only be interprovince.
