Question about UK computer and video games

Hi, i am a new member,

I wanted to download some UK computer and video games magazines but i get a FBI message because it was uploaded to megaupload.

Are they going to be uploaded again to another download service?

I believe they're currently working on moving their downloads from Megaupload to other sites but it's a long painstaking process. Not everything is moved over yet.

Not trying to take people away from here at all .... just that I have re-uploaded a ton of the UK mags onto Rapidshare. I scanned and contributed a lot of them here anyway.

Don't worry about that, it's not a competition. The more people devoted to preserving video game history....the better

Just like to clear the air. Some people seem to take exception to others hosting their content. I was that way myself only because they didn't even bother to acknowledge where it came from. I always do acknowledge the origin of the file in question on my site anyway so I don't stress out about it now. As you said ... the more people preserving content the less chance of it disappearing.

I have no issues with anyone hosting Retromags files, as long as they don't downsize the quality, remove the thank you page, or forget to give us a shoutout
