Dragon Quest: Maboroshi no Daichi (The Land of Illusion)

Based on Dragon Quest VI for the Super Famicom

A trio of travelers walk to a cliff, where a young girl summons a dragon. They fly to the castle of Maou Mudo where, upon reaching throne room, Mudo surprises them and seemingly kills them all. Botsu, the party leader, wakes up at home in the village of Lifecod. Was it really just a dream?
