Psycho Soldier (Japan)
There are 2 notable things about Psycho Soldier, a platform game developed and published by SNK for Japanese arcades in 1986:
- The unbelievably bad artwork on the ad. This must be the Japanese equivalent of a Francis Mao Gamepro cover. I work in elementary schools and can confirm without a hint of exaggeration that 75% of Japanese school children under the age of 12 can draw better than this.
- This is the first game in history to have a soundtrack featuring songs with vocals. "Athena sings lively!"
