Hyperdrome is a science-fiction arena sports game that will seem very familiar to long-time video game players. Four players (human or computer) enter a walled arena, where they fly floating pods in search of artifacts scattered throughout. Points are scored by shooting them into your base, and the player with the most points when time runs out wins. Gun mounts allow players to shoot at each other, both to destroy artifacts and to temporarily disable opponents'. Options allow each player to customize the color and performance of their pod, and to set the game length and difficulty of computer opponents.
