  1. I had been searching for Electronic Games cover scans and found something infinitely better...Retromags!

  2. That's French, Philly. I'm a bit rusty, but I can still recognize it after having taken four years of it. Roughly translated, it says: "Scans of old video game magazines. There's nothing like seeing scans of Nintendo Power from 1988 to understand the phrase, 'awesome graphics!'" *huggles* Areala

  4. You aren't disturbing us at all, Helper. Welcome to the forums! Editing and indexing in the wiki is so simple that even I can do it, which is a good thing. Basically, all you do is go through a magazine that you have at home or that you have downloaded from the site, go to the relevant page on our Wiki, and edit the page to include information on the games that are inside. Here are some samples so that you can see how people have done it already, and then use those as a template for your own work: Game Informer #72 Nintendo Power #1 EGM #1 PSM #1 You will need to create an account at the Wiki before you are allowed to edit articles. Please use the same name at the Wiki that you use here at the forums, because it makes it easier for us to keep track of your work and credit you for it. And that's about it, really. If you have more questions, feel free to ask them. *huggles* Areala

  6. This is something I came across this morning... I don't know if any members have actually done this, but if anyone had bookmarked http://www.retromags.com/forums/forums.html, they are greeted by a Error 404 page. Some people may take this as the site being gone. The odd one out of that group may not think to search for Retromags. So what if instead of the 404 page, there was a page that says the URL changed, and after a few seconds it automatically redirects the person to the new URL? Naked Prince likes the idea. By the way, the title should end in a question mark. I forgot to put one, and with the new system it seems like I can't change the title.

  9. The first I heard of this site was when Racketboy used to offer downloads of some mags a few years ago. And I am a happier man for finding it.

  11. I had been desperately looking for a certain copy of VG&CE for years. When I came across a Spelunker strategy that I had clipped from that magazine, I had a clue! I searched in Google and found a link, and that was it. Retromags didn't have the issue of VG&CE in question (which was JAN/FEB '89, I think), but I stayed anyways. Great site.

  12. Google at first a few years ago, and then I downloaded a NP torrent that was supposedly from here(wasn't though, because the quality was terrible). I decided to look up the site again and it was still here, so I joined.

  16. Go on girl, shake that pussy! That's it! BTW that's a horrible instruction video. Not every pussycat likes to be touched the same way. You just have to go with the flow.
