I occasionally rewatch Cowboy Bebop. No matter how many times I've seen it, it still feels fresh, the characters and their motives are always a pleasure to watch them play out.
I rather enjoyed The Shield, in the same way that one enjoys watching a train wreck. You know it's all going to end in tears, but you're almost powerless to stop it. I still think it peaked around season 5, with Glenn Close, she was fantastic in that role. Also, The Shield seems to have paved the way for Sons of Anarchy, which is basically Macbeth on two wheels, but it was a lot of fun too.
Lately we've been watching The Blacklist. Highly recommend it, weird as this might sound, it's almost like someone thought to combine Scooby Doo and Silence of the Lambs. Fans of The X-Files will enjoy it, if you liked the aspects of the show that weren't the sci-fi focus.
Either way folks, what a time we live in, that we can watch whole seasons of a show, at our leisure, without having to buy a crate full of VHS tapes or insanely priced DVD's!
