  3. I think everyone knows about the Sonic and Knuckles "lock-on technology" feature allowing one cartridge to be inserted into another to alter certain things, but I didn't realize the Famicom was doing it 4 years prior to that. After uploading yet another ad for Sunsoft's Nantettatte!! Baseball, I noticed a couple of odd things. First, there were different ads for the game, with the first appearing in April 1989, and the most recent I just uploaded from December 1990. That's quite a long time to continuously advertise a game, and especially a sports title. But it all made sense when I noticed in the most recent ad a picture of a miniature game cassette. Rather than sell an updated version of the same game every year like everyone else doing sports titles, Sunsoft had designed the original game's cartridge to accept mini cartridges which would be sold separately with roster updates in successive years. Anyone know of any other games to do this?
