Notable Stuff:
- The April Fools gag from Issue 57 is revealed, and it's...a misspelling on the cover? Seriously, EGM? We'd expect that from a LamePro entry, not the same magazine that pulled the Sheng Long gag or had us convinced you could play as Simon Belmont in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game. Typographical errors aren't April Fools jokes, they're editorial mistakes.
- Daniel Eshleman's "What If..." entry did not age well. "What if Super Bomberman got loose in the World Trade Center?" Jeezus, man...
- Despite being only #8 on the Reader's Top Ten list, Super Metroid is the best-selling game on the SNES according to Babbage's sales numbers.
- Why did Konami design Sparkster, the sequel to the Genesis-only Rocket Knight Adventures, for the Super Nintendo?
- The winners of the October '93 EA/3DO contest are printed on page 186.
