One of the letter writers seems to have a love affair with TDK's game division for some strange reason. McDonalds Monogatari: Honobono Tenchou Ikusei Game (roughly translated as "McDonalds' Story: The Heartwarming Management Training Game") really does exist, reinforcing the point that Japan will make video games and/or comics about anything, no matter how weird.
-
Token of the Month this issue comes from Richard Jhonson who claims it's from the Fun Time Arcade in Maryland. T&T can find no evidence this arcade exists, but decide to run with it anyway. Whatever happened to journalistic responsibility?
-
Songbird Ocarina offered a replica of the instrument used by Link in Ocarina of Time for $39.95 + $6.00 shipping and handling. Wild!
-
Reader Art Gallery runs in black and white through the bottom pages of the PlayStation tips and Game Boy Advance tips sections.
-
Nyko's iType 2 Controller from the Gaming Gear section looks almost identical to Sony's DualShock 3 with the PS3 keypad attached. Only thing is, Nyko beat Sony to the punch by five years. Outside of Final Fantasy XI though, there really wasn't any need for such a controller on the PS2.
