So I see that Nintendo is doing re-releases of some of their GameCube titles for the Nintendo Wii, Looking on Wikipedia it seems as though its the following titles.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Play_Control! I mean they kinda screwed up by not giving Mario Kart Wii the ability to download new tracks, I love playing Mario Kart, and I would have soo bought extra tracks to race on. So this is their chance to redeem themselves, by redoing the graphics and controls for Double Dash. The challenge is to find a worse Protip then the one I found this week. Only rule is, you cant use the "well known" cyber demon Protip (see below)

It is..... The portal page (home page) automatically resizes itself as you adjust the browser window. The only thing I can control is how much each column is alloted......this is what it is set to right now.... left column = 25% middle column = 50% right column = 25% Now I can take away columns, meaning I can remove the right column and just have the left and middle columns shown.....if you want to see how that would look go to http://www.1emulation.com as they use the same software and skin as us But if it is really bothering you, we could probably resize those big pictures and just put a link to the full size versions directly under it. I dont notice things like this because I have a 22 inch Acer LCD....so it looks normal to me. -Robert

I also have 2 Dreamcasts (now three) One busted one (got it with a bundle of games) One used one (got it with a bundle of games One Sealed one (bought it a few weeks ago) The busted one I was testing out my soldering techniques on, I failed.....but I wanted a new one that wasn't dirty......I like my systems new....if I can get a deal on it.

Its nice to know that I have the Tri-Fecta of Gaming magazines from the early 90's Nintendo Power EGM GamePro I will be keeping my eyes peeled for Issue #2 now, As I get done scanning these early GamePro's, they will be available over at ChaseTheChuckWagon.com. The monies recouped from selling them will help me purchase more Retro-Goodness

Sometimes it takes a carefully trained eye such as myself to spot the rare gems in a pile of magazines. I saw this auction for a pile of GamePro magazines..... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=300283108863 Now, 95% of those magazines I do not care about, my concern was with the 3 magazines in the top left corner......I know the with the spikey hair is Issue #5 (which I just got last week)......but those other two where I can't really see the cover.....they have me curious. Contact the seller asking about those issues, no reply Wait a few days.... Contact the seller AGAIN asking about those issues, no reply AGAIN Luckily I have some GamePro magazines at my desk at work, So I start flipping through some early issues from 1993, looking for a page that has the back issues.....Nothing in 1993, except for issues from 1992. Next issue is a Swat Pro from the Fall of 1990 (I believe its in the Download Section also) Start flipping through......BINGO! I find a back order page that has the early issues on it. So I look closely at the picture in the magazine and see the following Issue 3 = 10 Packed Pages Issue 4 = Super Mario Land Look back at the Auction page......see that is the two issues Hit Buy it Now! We are now only missing issue 2 for GamePro!

On donations, if everyone just donated $3, we would have $10,614 in the Retromags fund! On bandwidth, if everyone just downloaded 1 magazine from Retromags, it would equal 397 Gigabytes of data!
