  3. Glad to have you on board, I have upgraded you account. Kotaku gave Retromags our last huge traffic boost. They mentioned our EGM #1 release and I had like 2000 people on this forum in 15 minutes. Oh and we love fanboys, but only the Nintendo ones If you upload anything you will become a Team Member, which is the same benefits as a Premium Member, just a different tag
  4. Absolutely, All proceeds from CTCW will go back into the Retromags fund for purchasing rare magazines from Ebay.
  5. Over the past 4 years of running Retromags.com, I have acquired many duplicates of magazines. So what we are looking to do is offer our extra magazines to the members of Retromags. Retromags will be using ChaseTheChuckWagon.com for our auctions, ChaseTheChuckWagon excels over ebay because there is no fee's unless the auction sells. Look at what Retromags is selling Here! Within a week I should have over 100 auctions running

    I Declare First!

First in our hearts for all that work you have been putting into the wiki

    I Declare First!

Now who will be number 1000! That is my goal, not gonna try for a million just yet
  9. Very awesome indeed, guess what? Retromags now shows up on the first page of Google results for PSM Issue 1 http://www.google.com/search?q=PSM+Issue+1
  10. EGM2 is converted and stubbed out
  11. I agree, looks great By the way, I just redid the Super Play section, I am working my way through changing everything to "pretty urls" Super Play 011 - sep 1993 (UK) became... Super Play Issue 11 But....the first link still exists as a redirect to the pretty url Soon everything will be like this....and the wiki will be one step closer to taking over the world as "THE SOURCE" for magazine information Big thanks to everyone who is lending a hand!
  12. No need to announce your departure, just go into the settings of your account and disable any notifications from us.....and move along. We do not close accounts, as it is unnecessary......and deleting your account would screw up anyone who quoted you. *Locked!
  13. Thanks to everyone that is coming together for this! At this rate we should have the funds raised by tomorrow
  14. Well I had started you off with the easiest stuff....but if you want to jump to the next step Lets take the Xbox Magazines you just placed stubs inside of.....if you want to create the infobox....just add the following below your stub entry.... __NOTOC__ {{maginfo| |title=[[Official Xbox Magazine Issue 11]] |image=Official xbox issue 011.jpg |issuenumber=11 |date=October 2002 |country=USA |language=English |pages=?? |publisher=Future Publishing |}} You can see all the Covers that have already been uploaded by going to the following link.....and you can search for items like Xbox or PSM http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Special:ImageList
  15. Awesome! I would stay clear of anything on the Wiki that has any of the following.... Preceeding Zeros on two digit numbers in title Country codes in title Date in title This next example has all three of the above criteria.... http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Gamers_Repub..._aug_1998_(USA) Those are the old style links....that we are trying to get rid of......that link should be http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Gamers_Republic_Issue _3 The reason why we are straying away from those old links.....is because people don't go to Google and type "GamePro Issue 003" They go and search for GamePro Issue 3......thus we are changing the links to new ones. You may notice that the Download section has 3 digit numbers, but that is because its the only way to get the issues to display in order
  16. Hey Areala, Do me a favor and hold back on the Nintendo Power section for a day or so, I thought we had fixed this issue....but I must have been mistaken. Way back about a year ago.....we ended up with 2 Nintendo Power sections.....it seems as though we still have 2.. Example...... You just did an Index for Nintendo Power Issue 72 http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Nintendo_Pow..._may_1995_(USA) and over here we have another one.... http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Nintendo_Power_Issue_072 I am going to get on top of fixing this today and tomorrow..... In the mean time.....we do need a bit of help with stubbing out certain magazines on the wiki http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Official_Xbox_Magazine http://www.retromags.com/wiki/GameFan http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Duo_World http://www.retromags.com/wiki/Next_Generation http://www.retromags.com/wiki/PSM All that you need to do is click on any of the issues that do not exist at this time, and add this code to the page and hit save {{Index Stub}}
  17. He worked even harder to get the Banned Title
  18. Hey Joedick, The issues are the ones found in this auction.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=170322094220 By purchasing this auction, Retromags will only need Issues 2, 3 and 4 to have a complete run
  19. Very awesome! Many people may assume that the only way they can help is by scanning or editing......but the truth is that the Wiki is something that EVERYONE can help with. Just to let you know, you may notice that when uploading covers to the Wiki......that you can only do 1 at a time. But if you have the need to upload multiple images.....we do have a way to mass import images into the Wiki
  20. I have no idea what you are referring to.....that was always his avatar
  21. I just run a query, looking for members with less than 1 post.....and that haven't logged on within the past 365 days. I then email them and tell them they are about to be axed.....and 7 days later I run the query again and delete those who still meet the criteria
  22. 509 Members Pruned from the Forums! Next Pruning will take place on July 10th 2008!!!! I also deleted any Private Messages that were over 365 days old. The oldest message before the delete was 10/10/2007......now the oldest message is 04/10/2008
  23. The day they redo the graphics and sound for Final Fantasy 7, and release it on the PS3......is the day I buy a PS3!
