  4. True enough If I had the money I would buy it, scan it.....and then relist it on Ebay. I am not too up on Wikipedia, not sure how to go about promoting this site on there without causing trouble
  5. EGM Issue 3 is on ebay right now, If you win it and send it to me, I will happily scan the entire issues and then mail you the physical copy back
  6. I figured as much when I saw the names......Some people sign up with a fake email and then with a real one.....for those people I only ban the Validating account.

    Why .cbr?

    Sure go ahead
  8. Would it make a difference on the following points... 1) Does 7zip achieve the same if not better results when creating .zips? 2) Since we upload .cbr's and .nfo's inside of a zip, will it cause any problems having essentially a zip inside of a zip?
  9. If anyone out there has ANY of the following issues of Nintendo Power, and donates that issue to us for scanning (or scans it themself and sends us the scans).....they will receive a 1 year Premium Membership to Retromags! Look in your closets and basements......or feel free to search Ebay for these missing issues and have the seller send the issues to me, This will also get you a 1 year Premium Membership!
  10. Welcome! Glad to have some helping hands, We are very basic on editing.......Smoothing Creases, Joining Posters, Cropping Whitespace out, Deskewing Images......We have plenty of magazines that could use some touch ups.....Hit me up with a PM and I can provide you the original scans to work with (not the 1400x1800 ones but the 2500x3300 ones)
  11. Ok that auction is officially OURS! If anyone feels like they missed out on donating.......well we found Issue 002 of EGM on EBAY! Keep those donations coming and we will claim this one as ours! http://cgi.ebay.com/0084-Electronic-Gaming...bayphotohosting
  12. Thanks! If we do manage to get this auction we will have the following complete years 1992 1994 1996 1998
  13. Ask and ye shall recieve (within certain limitations)
  14. Don't worry I still have the pictures of Meppi with those female midget amputee's
  15. In order to keep the forum operating at its best, we often prune inactive accounts. But now we are going to start pruning old personal messages also. There were roughly 47 pages worth of personal messages with 50 messages per page.....which is 2350 personal messages (roughly) We pruned anything older then 365 days for personal messages......which brought us down to 20 pages at 50 messages per page.....which is 1000 personal messages (roughly) PM pruning will take place once a year....maybe twice. Thanks for your understanding! -Phillyman
  16. If you have already donated, the system doesnt allow you to donate again.....but you can always send payment to liamemaps------------at--------------comcast.net Of course remove the hyphens and change the "at" to an @
  17. Well check your EGM collection for our missing issues. We could surely use them, if you dont want to scan them yourself, you can always mail them directly to me....and I would bump you to a lifetime member
  18. http://cgi.ebay.com/ELECTRONIC-GAMING-MONT...1QQcmdZViewItem All 12 Issues of EGM for 1994, Of which we are currently missing 5.......I am tied up with the Issue 001 EGM auction.....just thought I would bring this to the attention of the forum......If we get enough donations from members signing up for Premium Memberships....I can buy this outright... While it may seem like a lot of money to spend for only 5 missing issues, Remember that we can resell the 7 issues we already have to gain back some of the funds from this auction. All it takes is 3 people to sign up for lifetime memberships ($15) or 10 people to sign up for one year memberships ($5) -Phillyman
  19. WON! Game Informer Issue 002 (Nov/Dec 1991)
  20. Won! Gamepro Issue 006 Unfortunately we lost the issue of EGM we wanted.....It went for $46 :(
  21. Oh thank you! Yes I do that for EVERY issue of EGM! One of the reasons I was doing PSM is because only like 6 pages in a PSM are un-numbered. I noticed the weird numbering where the Croc foldout was too....I thought maybe I was missing a page? I thought I did this issue because I have 2 piles 1) Need Cheat Sheets 2) Done Cheat Sheet So I took all my #2's home the other day, and started working through them, well I debinded this issue and ended up with 6 missing pages, Now that means that Page 60 is showing up as Scan 54, but then you have to take into effect that the issues cover is NOT page 1, because of that silly dominatrix foldout, The cover is 00A and the inside is 00B. So now you have to figure out how many pages are not scanned. I usually just do one or two word descriptions, glad you did more
  22. I screwed up last night.....I debinded an issue of EGM that I thought I had made a cheat sheet for. Anyways some of the pages got out of order and now I have no way of knowing how the issue went together, unless I either buy another copy or someone on Retromags can tell me the order of the pages.....Basically I need a list of the pages without numbers on either side....The way I do it is to write down something obvious about each page without a number.....So.... If pages 3 and 4 dont have page numbers.....I take Page 3 and write down something memorable about it .... Page 3 = Tekken 3 Ad If it isnt an advertisement, I try to find something unique to that page.....usually words or a picture.... Page 7 = Skull Page 9 = "Win Big" Page 13 = Cheat for SMB3 If anyone can create me a cheat sheet for issue 99 of EGM that would be fantastic.....Its 97% scanned but I need this info to scan the remainder. -Phillyman
  23. I have it already for bidding......I am the top bidder......when did they start this crap ....grrrr
  24. I have added a Ebay Username field to everyones profiles. In order to prevent us from bidding against each other, now we have an easy way to search that a Ebay user id doesnt match a Retromags user. To add your Ebay Username Click "My Controls" at the top of this page (near the logo) Scroll down to "Edit Profile Information" (on the left hand side) Scroll down to "Ebay User name" and enter your Ebay User name To Search Ebay User Ids Click on "Members" at the top of this page (near the logo) Click "Toggle More Options" (top right hand corner) Scroll down to "Ebay User Name" and enter the user name you wish to search for This is not saying that if you enter your Ebay User name that other members on this forum will not bid against you....but hopefully they wont
