As a kid.....what video game magazine did you subscribe to first? I started off with Nintendo Power, My earliest issue that I have was the Duck Tales Issue (008), I kept a subscription with them until Issue 075, In the mean time I had also received Sega Visions (a few issues) and a few issues of EGM, Next Generation and Gamepro......but by far nothing in comparison to my Nintendo Power collection.....I used to be able to sort my Nintendo Powers by the covers alone.....I didn't even need to look at the issue number

Which is there more of a demand for? Do people like the EGM flood we are currently doing? Or would you guys be interested in getting some of the missing Nintendo Power mags uploaded?

I just filled up this morning, $46.84 for a little over 14 Gallons. I think the price per gallon was like $3.27. I looked at my millage and since my last full tank I did 277 Miles. It just keeps getting worse doesn't it? :(

Thats what I was worried about, that it may draw more attention to the auctions and someone may try outbidding us :(

Ok Meppi dont make us have an Intervention on you, Surrender the Ebay account now I am selling the 3 Nintendo Power Flash Magazines in my possession tonite to help pay for my auctions. Dont go broke on us now... How much did you get them for? Probably not, I have 2 Dreamcast mags and they are too big for standard scanners, so they need to be scanned and stitched together (very time consuming) Dont mention a A3 scanner to Meppi .....he might buy it :fear:

Welcome Krisse, Scan whatever keeps you interested, Right now I am scanning EGM magazines and Eday_2010 is compiling and releasing them. We are missing a few issues here and there so any holes you can fill would be a TREMENDOUS help. I use a program called Omnipage 16 and scan with that, I am using a Canon scanner that scans both sides of the page. I am in the middle of redoing the Wiki Guide on how to compile the .CBR files at the moment. But if you want to know where the holes reside in the EGM collection.....Just check out this link (if its green we have a copy) http://retromags.com/wiki/index.php?title=Acquired_Issues EDIT: Omnipage has a great editing program to deskew pages so that they are straight, and they also have a great cropping tool, I usually use that program first, and then run the scans through IrFanView to batch resize them down and give them a standardized naming convension

I played through it last night, I got my ass kicked by Metal Samus because I dont know how to jump higher then a foot Anyways I made it to the hand and he smacked me around, I got beat and I turned on Halo 3 to feel better. I will post my Friend Code later tonite

I have often wondered about you retromags1, Every time I have ever seen you online you seem to be viewing Meppi's WIP thread. I was beginning to think you were a bot or spy :fear:

Anyone found creating multiple accounts on Retromags will be banned. I can easily detect when you are signing up multiple times. If this continues to be abused I will remove the ability for people with less then 5 posts from being able to Download. 48 accounts banned this morning which is about 20 offenders! -Phillyman
